Sunday Mass Schedule
Saturday Vigil
Sunday
Daily Mass Schedule
Monday through Friday: 8:30 A.M.
Mass Intentions
Mass intentions may be offered for a loved one or friend who is deceased, for the intentions of someone who is living and perhaps ill or in special need, or for a special occasion like a birthday or a wedding anniversary. Requests for particular dates are taken on a first come, first serve basis and should be made at least three months in advance. An offering of $10 is suggested for each Mass intention requested. Cards are available to send to a grieving family or to someone living for their intentions. Please stop by the rectory offices during business hours to schedule your intention and to select your card.
Visit the rectory office to make arrangements for special votive lights to burn in memory of a deceased loved one or for special intentions. These outdoor votive candles will burn at the Sacred Heart Shrine and the Madonna and Child Shrine. At a cost of $5 each, they will burn for 6 to 7 days, Sunday through Saturday, weekly from approximately Easter through late November each year. Each week the bulletin will denote for whom the candles burn.

Confessions
Every Saturday 3:30 to 4:30 PM in the church
or by appointment.
Anointing of the Sick
Doctors Hospital does not have a full time Catholic chaplain. The priests of our deanery take turns covering the hospital for genuine medical emergencies, mostly after regular business hours on a weekly rotational basis. Each parish priest tries to see his parishioners at the hospital if he is made aware of the patient admission. Please contact the priest when you, or a member of your family, are admitted to the hospital. If you know about your hospital stay in advance, please contact your parish priest prior to entering the hospital to request confession, Holy Communion, and the Anointing of the Sick. Emergency calls will be responded to immediately if available. When you check into the hospital please make sure that your religious preference is listed as Catholic so that our parish Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will be able to locate you for reception of Holy Communion during their daily visits.
Mass of Christian Burial
Please call the rectory at 301-459-4814 as soon as possible after the death of a parishioner to arrange for a Mass of Christian Burial.
